All Registrations are sold subject to availability and although Bentley
Registrations check out the availability of every Registration before
selling, they cannot accept any responsibility should the donor of the
Registration change his mind in respect of selling or in the unlikely
event of failure of the transfer at Vehicle Registration Office level.
Certain registrations are subject to VAT. All registrations are subject
to Department of Transport transfer fee.
Any full payment or part payment taken on a Registration is non-returnable
(unless the Transfer cannot proceed due to the default of the donor)
and a Registration will be held for 14 days exactly from the date of
the part payment being taken, pending receipt of balance of monies and
the documentation required to complete the Transfer. Your rights under
the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 will be
lost on accepting a contract to purchase any registration. If the initial
payment received is FULL PAYMENT the registration mark will be held
for up to one month pending receipt of documentation required to complete
the transfer. If documentation is not received or is in anyway incorrect,
Bentley Registrations reserve the right to place the registration mark
onto a retention certificate and recover any said costs from the purchaser.
Any part payment will be kept by Bentley Registrations to cover their
administration and advertising costs.
If the recipient fails to supply documentation within 8 weeks from
the date of purchase, Bentley Registrations reserve the right to supply
the recipient with a certificate bearing the registration mark. It will
then be the recipient's responsibility to transfer the registration
mark to a vehicle before the certificate expires whatever that date
may be. The recipient in these cases will only be the nominee so they
will not be able to extend the certificate, apply for a duplicate or
change the nominee name.
Once a Transfer has been authorised at DVLA Swansea all liabilities
will be rescinded by Bentley Registrations.
It is illegal to display the new Registration before the Transfer is
complete. Do not have the new Registration plates made up until the
Transfer has been approved.
In the event that we are unable to effect the Transfer within 12 weeks
from receipt of your complete documents, and provided you are not responsible
for the failure, we will refund your monies in full.
If a client pays a part payment on a registration mark and subsequently
wishes to pay the balance on credit card we are at liberty to surcharge
the said client. (NOTE we only surcharge the % that the individual card
company charges us.)
Prices subject to change without notice.
The terms of this contract do not affect your statutory rights.
